We drove out the farm stands again yesterday. This time I got blackberries, blueberries, peaches, green beans, sweet corn, pattypan squash, and some sourdough rolls. I love the farm stands but with the cost of gas, I don’t think we will be able to go as often ~ it takes us about 45 minutes to get out there with the tourist traffic. It might still be worth it for the fresh produce ~ I’ll have to sit down and figure it out.
This recipe is very simple and can be used for any cut of beef. We used a flank steak in this picture.
Marinade for Grilled Beef
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 dash ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 dash Tabasco
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsps bourbon
Mix ingredients together in a ziplock bag and add beef to the bag. Marinate all day in the refrigerator or overnight.
Grill until desired doneness.
Happy Cooking!
