Recipes With No Pictures
When I started this blog, I decided that I would not post a recipe without a photograph and I’ve stuck to that. Sometimes I’ll make a recipe and totally forget to photograph it or I won’t like any of the photographs or I accidentally delete without uploading ~ but the recipes are still really good. I decided to put them here and as I make them again, I’ll add a photo and put them on the main blog. But for now, they’ll stay here.

Fridays are “Burger Fridays” here at our house so I try to find new and different recipes so we don’t get bored. This recipe is really good ~ caramelized chopped onions mixed right in with the burger meat.
Onion Burgers
2 tsps vegetable oil
2 cups chopped onions
2 pounds hamburger (I use 85%)
pepper
salt
8 burger rolls
Heat oil in a skillet. Add onion and saute until the onion is caramelized ~ about 15 minutes or so. When finished, put in a bowl and let cool.
Add the beef, salt and pepper to the onion and mix. If the meat is not sticking together well, add an egg to help it keep together ~ I haven’t had to do this.
Grill the burgers until they are done to your liking. I always toast the buns on the grill for our burgers.
Makes 6-8 burgers, depending on size.
