Easy Chicken Nuggets

Or strips or whatever you want to call them. These are easy and Mr. Meat Eater goes crazy for them. They aren’t as fattening as some since these are baked in the oven. I don’t really measure anything ~ just throw it all together. I served them with Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Dipping Sauce ~ this stuff is so good and it would be great on all kinds of food!
Easy Chicken Nuggets
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsps dried basil
2 tsps dried thyme
2 tsps paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3/4 cup butter, melted
2 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes or strips
In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and seasonings. Place butter in another shallow bowl.
Dip chicken in butter, then roll in bread crumb mixture.
Place on a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan.
Bake, uncovered, at 400º for 15-20 minutes or until juices run clear. Mine usually take 20 minutes.
Makes 4-6 servings.
Happy Cooking!
